Ta' Ħaġrat Temples: a small UNESCO stop for prehistory fans

Ta' Ħaġrat shows that Malta's prehistory does not end with Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra.

This smaller site gives a quieter contact with the island's megalithic layer and fits well around Mġarr.

How to fit it into the day

Add it to an archaeology route, around Mosta/Mġarr, or for travellers who already saw the main temples.

Check opening times and access. It is not a high-infrastructure stop.

Excellent for enthusiasts. Optional for a first visit.
