Most people day-trip to Gozo. Big mistake. Gozo deserves amazing 2-3 days.
What is Different?
Everything is greener, slower, and steeper. The dialect is different. The bread is different. Even the cheese is different (Gbejna – try the peppered ones).
Must See
- Wied il-Ghasri: A sea cayon/fjord. Stunning swimming spot.
- Salt Pans (Xwejni): Roman-era salt pans cut into the rock. Looks like an alien landscape.
- Ta' Pinu Basilica: A massive church in the middle of nowhere. A place of miracles.
💡 MONIKA'S TIP:
Rent a Quad Bike. Gozo's roads are rough and hilly. A quad is the most fun way to explore the hidden cliffs where cars can't go.
